Bob Carroll, who was the owner of Harbor View in the 1970s, also had a role in the movie as the selectman in the fictional town of Amity.

To celebrate, the Edgartown Board of Trade is hosting events throughout the weekend as part of Amity Week. The Edgartown Library is partnering with a photo scan-a-thon to capture and archive photos taken during the movie's filming in order to share Jaws history with the public. Bring your photographs to the library anytime during open hours, and we'll scan them into a central database that will document this significant cinematic period in island history.
